This project is funded under a Global Challenges Research Fund project TIGR2ESS: Transforming India's Green Revolution by Research and Empowerment for Sustainable food Supplies which is a multi-institution research collaboration led by the University of Cambridge. Under the sub-theme of this project, Flagship Project 4 (FP4), University of Cambridge, UK and CIPT are exploring agricultural transformations and societal needs in India. FP4 particularly aims towards Water use and Management in a Changing Monsoon Climate. CIPT will work together with other members of this project to engage with practitioners at a local level to develop models of water efficient options. Partners will also collaborate to design and deliver workshops in India and the UK to disseminate information to farmers and stakeholders, and develop appropriate outputs from these workshops to inform policy options and the work of the other TIGR2ESS flagship programmes.
